FIND YOUR GOOD SPACE
BEFORE CLASS:
- HYDRATE: Drink plenty of water throughout the day & before coming to class hydration is very important.
- BE PREPARED: Arrive 15 minutes before class begins.
- UNLOAD: Store footwear under entry bench.
- MANAGE: Avoid drinking water until after Eagle Pose/Party Time.
- GO INWARD; IT’S YOUR TIME: Turn off cell phones & leave them in the locker room. Your phone needs to re-charge too.
- BE MINDFUL: Mind personal hygiene; avoid lotions, scents & body odor.
DURING CLASS:
- PLAN: Bring bottled water to class.
- BE COURTEOUS: Enter class quietly & settle in quietly.
- FIND EFFICIENCY: Place water bottle at mat’s edge.
- OBSERVE: Front row are more experienced; observe them in posture.
- MANAGE: Avoid drinking water until after Eagle Pose/Party Time.
- ADAPT: Try to stay in the room. If an emergency requires you to leave, please exit quietly & re-enter between postures.
- FIND STILLNESS: Practice stillness between postures.
- CONTROL: Avoid fidgeting during class.
- FOCUS: Focus on yourself in the mirror.
- INTENTION: Avoid distracting others; Drink water only in between postures.
- REGULATE: If you feel overwhelmed, listen to your body & rest, regulate your breath & find stillness. NO EGO NEEDED
AFTER CLASS:
- SURRENDER: Observe silence after the final savasana; it’s time for meditation.
- BE THE LIGHT: Leave the room quietly. Respect others’ solitude.
- CONSIDERATE: If you rented a mat or towel, please place in the bin located in the hallway.
- GRATITUDE: Enjoy the peace & energy you’ve created for yourself.
- LET GO: Wash away the detox; shower soon.
- WELLNESS: Hydrate & eat clean; you’re worth it!!
